| Bud Hornbeck joined Lutgert Insurance in August, 1995. His experience in the insurance industry dates to 1976 when he served as Life Agent in Training with the Travelers Insurance Company in South Bend, Indiana. In 1978, Bud joined the Warren Hornbeck Agency, also located in South Bend. As Vice President of the independent agency, he created and managed an Association Insurance Program for the Indiana Towing and Wrecker Association. After the sale of the Warren Hornbeck Agency in 1984, Bud accepted the position of Commercial Manager with James L. Martin, Inc. in Naples, Florida. Bud's educational background includes attending Culver Military Academy and Indiana University where he majored in Business Administration. He is a 1992 graduate of The Leadership Collier Program and the recipient of the 1995 Leadership Collier Distinguished Alumnus Award. Bud's impressive community service history includes serving as board member and active supporter of numerous youth athletic programs, educational institutions and charitable organizations. He is especially known for his creation and on-going leadership of the Winged Foot Scholarship Foundation and for his work on behalf of the Greater Naples Little League, the Subaru LPGA Memorial Golf Tournament, the Senior PGA Golf tournament, the Collier County Education Foundation, the American Heart Association of Collier County , Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame and many others. |
